The Tayana 52 is a 52.42ft cutter designed by Robert Perry and built in fiberglass by Ta Yang Yacht Building Co. Ltd. between 1983 and 1991.

The Tayana 52 is a moderate weight sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is good. There is a good water supply range.
