The Swan 53 is a 53.0ft masthead sloop designed by German Frers and built in fiberglass by Nautor (Swan sailboats) between 1987 and 1995.

The Swan 53 is a moderate weight sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is very stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is good. There is an excellent water supply range.
