The Southerly 49 is a 49.57ft solent designed by Rob Humphreys and built in fiberglass by Northshore Yachts (UK) between 2009 and 2013.

The Southerly 49 is a light sailboat which is a high performer. It is reasonably stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a fast cruiser. The fuel capacity is good. There is a good water supply range.
