The Beneteau 50 is a 50.75ft masthead sloop designed by Farr Yacht Design/Armel Briand and built in fiberglass by Beneteau between 1995 and 2004.

200 units have been built.

The Beneteau 50 is a light sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is reasonably stable / stiff and has a good righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a coastal cruiser. The fuel capacity is good. There is an excellent water supply range.
