North star 48
The North star 48 is a 48.17ft masthead yawl designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built in fiberglass by Hughes Boat Works since 1970.
The North star 48 is a heavy sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is very stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a heavy bluewater cruising boat.
