The Nauticat 40 is a 39.37ft staysail ketch designed by S&S and built in fiberglass by Nauticat - Siltala Yachts between 1984 and 1993.

The Nauticat 40 is a heavy sailboat which is a good performer. It is reasonably stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a heavy bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is excellent. There is an excellent water supply range.
