The Kelt 850 is a 27.88ft fractional sloop designed by Gilles Vaton/Patrick Roseo and built in fiberglass by Kelt Marine between 1983 and 1987.

1200 units have been built.

The Kelt 850 is a light sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is very stable / stiff and has a low righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a day-boat.
