The Hinckley 43 hood is a 42.83ft masthead sloop designed by Ted Hood and built in fiberglass by Hinckley Yachts between 1976 and 1981.

The Hinckley 43 hood is a moderate weight sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is very stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat.
