The Heard 28 is a 28.0ft gaff head cutter designed by Percey Dalton and built in wood or fiberglass between 1968 and 2008.

100 units have been built.

The Heard 28 is a very heavy sailboat which is slightly under powered. It is very stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a heavy bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is originally small. There is a short water supply range.
