The Golden wave 42 is a 42.0ft masthead sloop designed by Robert Perry and built in fiberglass by Cheoy Lee Shipyard between 1981 and 1983.

22 units have been built.

The Golden wave 42 is a moderate weight sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat.
