Columbia 40


The Columbia 40 is a 39.5ft masthead sloop designed by Charles Morgan and built in fiberglass by Columbia Yachts between 1964 and 1969.

55 units have been built.

The Columbia 40 is a heavy sailboat which is slightly under powered. It is very stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a heavy bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is originally small. There is a short water supply range.
