The Noordkaper 56 is a 58.4ft cutter designed by Martin Bekebrede and built in aluminum or steel by Gebr. van Enkhuizen since 1999.

The Noordkaper 56 is a heavy sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is not stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a heavy bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is excellent. There is an excellent water supply range.
