The Tartan 27 yawl is a 27.0ft masthead yawl designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built in fiberglass by Tartan Marine between 1961 and 1980.

The Tartan 27 yawl is a heavy sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is reasonably stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a coastal cruiser.
