The Swede 38 is a 37.4ft fractional sloop designed by Elvström/Kjærulff and built in fiberglass by Helmsman Yachts between 1980 and 1987.

The Swede 38 is a moderate weight sailboat which is slightly under powered. It is very stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat.
