The Bestewind 50 is a 49.11ft fractional sloop designed by Dykstra Naval Architects and built in carbon fiber or composite by KM Yachtbuilders since 2008.

The Bestewind 50 is a light sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is reasonably stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is good. There is a good water supply range.
