The Roughwater 33 is a 33.08ft masthead sloop designed by Thomas Gillmer and built in fiberglass by Roughwater Boats between 1975 and 1985.

The Roughwater 33 is a heavy sailboat which is under powered. It is reasonably stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat.
