The Javelin 38 tripp is a 37.83ft masthead sloop designed by William H. Tripp, Jr. and built in fiberglass by Seafarer Yachts between 1960 and 1966.

The Javelin 38 tripp is a very heavy sailboat which is slightly under powered. It is not stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is originally small. There is a good water supply range.
