The Islander 29 is a 29.08ft masthead sloop designed by J.H.McGlasson and built in fiberglass by Islander / Tradewind Yachts between 1968 and 1969.

The Islander 29 is a moderate weight sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is reasonably stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a coastal cruiser.
