The Island trader 38 is a 37.33ft masthead ketch designed by Hugh Angleman and built in fiberglass between 1975 and 1988.

The Island trader 38 is a very heavy sailboat which is under powered. It is reasonably stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a heavy bluewater cruising boat.
