Andromeda 48
8 / 35 - score 59%
The Andromeda 48 is a 48.0ft masthead ketch designed by Bruce Bingham and built in ferro cement since 1976.
It accomodates 5 people in 2 cabins plus salon.
The Andromeda 48 is a moderate weight sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is very stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is excellent. There is an excellent water supply range.
This boat has an average score but ranks in the top quarter. It seems difficult to do much better. It is one of the best possible tradeoff for this request.
