The Alpa 74 is a 24.28ft masthead sloop designed by Sparkman & Stephens and built in fiberglass by Alpa Yachts (ITA) between 1974 and 1981.

The Alpa 74 is a moderate weight sailboat which is a reasonably good performer. It is stable / stiff and has a low righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a day-boat. The fuel capacity is originally very small. There is a very short water supply range.
