The Carpenter 29 is a 29.25ft fractional sloop designed by Rob Carpenter and built in fiberglass between 1985 and 1990.

The Carpenter 29 is a light sailboat which is a good performer. It is stable / stiff and has a low righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a day-boat. The fuel capacity is originally very small. There is a short water supply range.
