Cape 30 hood

The Cape 30 hood is a 30.0ft masthead sloop designed by Ted Hood and built in fiberglass by Cape Dory Yachts since 1972.

6 units have been built.

The Cape 30 hood is a very heavy sailboat which is slightly under powered. It is stable / stiff and has an excellent righting capability if capsized. It is best suited as a bluewater cruising boat. The fuel capacity is originally small. There is a short water supply range.
